• Hardware and software support - on call or on contract basis
• Small business accounting featuring QuickBooks, BusinessWorks, and others
• Training - Office, WordPerfect, Lotus, Windows '95, Netscape, and others
• Internet - Dial-up service, Web Page Design, Web Hosting, and others

Company Profile

Business Computer Services was started in 1984 as a part-time venture by founder and current owner Phil Lynch, designing and developing systems for several local companies. The venture grew into a full time business in 1994.

Phil Lynch - Formal training includes undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration. Experience includes over 20 years in Information Systems - including systems design, programming, networking and data communications, support, and management in hardware environments ranging from mainframes to micros. Software applications experience includes retail, distribution, accounting, manufacturing, insurance, health care, education, and others.

Cristy Ranes - Cristy is a graduate of Southern Vance High School and is our secretary.

Phil Hart - Phil is a graduate of Vance-Granville Community College with an Associates Degree in Micro Computer Systems Technology.

Steve Hatcher - Steve is a graduate of ECPI Technical College with 4 years of experience in computers and other electronics.

Michael Marsalone - Michael is a student at Vance Granville Community College.
